Attorney Advertising. This website is attorney advertising. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and ALF Attorneys ("ALF Attorneys," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of this website and its content (the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. About This Site
The Site provides general information about the legal services offered by ALF Attorneys, including Lemon Law, personal injury, and employment law matters in California. Information on the Site is provided for general educational purposes only. Laws change, and every situation is different, so the information on the Site may not be complete, current, or applicable to your circumstances.
3. No Legal Advice and No Attorney-Client Relationship
Nothing on the Site is legal advice, and nothing on the Site creates an attorney-client relationship between you and ALF Attorneys. Viewing the Site, submitting a form, calling us, texting us, or emailing us does not create that relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only when you and ALF Attorneys have both signed a written engagement agreement. Until then, we have no obligation to represent you, and you should not rely on the Site or on any communication with us as legal advice.
Time limits apply to legal claims, and they can be short. If you have a time-sensitive matter, do not wait for a response from us. Contact an attorney right away.
4. Confidential Information
Communications sent to us through the Site, including through forms, email, and text messages, are not guaranteed to be confidential or privileged before an attorney-client relationship exists. Please do not send us sensitive or confidential information until we have spoken with you and confirmed that we can assist you.
5. No Guarantee of Results
Case results and settlement amounts shown on the Site describe past matters. They are not a promise or prediction of any future outcome. Every case depends on its own facts and law, and the outcome of your matter cannot be guaranteed.
6. Calls, Text Messages, and Email
By providing your telephone number or email address through the Site, you consent to be contacted by ALF Attorneys by phone, text message, and email about your inquiry and our services. Calls and texts may be made using automated technology. Consent is not a condition of receiving any legal services from us.
- Message frequency varies, depending on your inquiry.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. You can reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the details in Section 17.
- Wireless carriers and their service providers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Please see our Privacy Policy for how we handle your contact information.
7. Your Use of the Site
You may use the Site for your own lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree that you will not:
- Use the Site in any way that violates a law or regulation, or that infringes the rights of others.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, or provide contact details that belong to someone else without their permission.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems, or interfere with the Site's operation or security.
- Use automated tools, such as bots, scrapers, or crawlers, to collect content or data from the Site, except for ordinary search engine indexing.
- Copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, frame, or create derivative works from the Site's content without our written permission.
- Transmit viruses, malicious code, or any material that is harmful, threatening, harassing, or unlawful.
We may restrict or end your access to the Site at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content, including text, graphics, photographs, logos, design, and layout, are owned by ALF Attorneys or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. The ALF Attorneys name and logo are our trademarks. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to view the Site and to print a copy of its content for your personal use. No other rights are granted. If you send us comments or feedback, you agree that we may use them without obligation to you.
9. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or tools, including a questionnaire that helps us evaluate vehicle claims. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. A link is not an endorsement. Your use of any third-party site is at your own risk and subject to that site's terms and policies.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error free, that defects will be corrected, or that the information on the Site is accurate or complete.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ALF Attorneys and its attorneys, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site or its content, even if we have been told such damages are possible. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing in these Terms limits any duty an attorney owes to a client under an engagement agreement or the rules of professional conduct.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ALF Attorneys and its attorneys, employees, and agents from claims, damages, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, that arise from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Site are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. You agree that any such dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. The Site is intended for use in the United States, and we make no representation that its content is appropriate or available in other locations.
14. Accessibility
We want this Site to be usable by everyone. If you have difficulty accessing any part of it, please contact us using the details in Section 17 and tell us what you need, and we will work with you to provide the information another way.
15. Changes to the Site and to These Terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms take effect when we post them on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will change. Your continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
16. General Terms
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and ALF Attorneys about the Site. If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, that part will be limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining parts will stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours.
